Choosing the right college is often a family decision. We know as parents you’re heavily invested on the community your student joins. You want them to be supported, inspired, safe and empowered to bring their God-given talents to the world. So do we.
We love to see PBA parents involved! One way you can do just that is by working with PBA’s Parent Council. Members of the Parent Council, provide effective parent-university interaction through consistent feedback with University leadership, as well as representing PBA at events and gatherings. Reach out to the Parent Council and get to know parents who want to help create the best possible experience for students and their families.
Every year, PBA celebrates Homecoming & Family Weekend- an ongoing tradition of activities including Sailgating, a Sailfish family barbecue before the soccer game, performances by PBA students, a family Workship project, and more!
PBA offers a college experience most schools simply can’t match. As a parent of a PBA student, you’ll see what we mean. From Welcome Week and Family Weekend to Commencement and other activities and events throughout the year, we believe that by welcoming parents and other family members of our students into our vibrant, Christ-first community, we all grow in mind, spirit and faith. We know that nothing is more important to you than the safety of your student. That’s the most important thing to us, too. We invest extensive resources to ensure that every PBA student has the support they need, and will live and learn in the safest environment possible. We employ nearly a dozen safety and security officers who patrol campus—on foot, on bicycles and via marked vehicles—24 hours a day, seven days a week. And you’ll find 22 emergency call boxes strategically located across all areas of campus.
